Daisy-Chainable 1-Watt XLamp Modules Create unlimited design possibilities.
|
Rancho
Dominguez, Ca, May 22th, 2006 - Infinilux, announces the introduction
of the IPD1 series of daisy-chainable, 1-Watt light engines powered
by the latest Cree Xlamp® LED technologies. These 1.0" x 1.0"
[25.4mm x 25.4mm] modules are mounted on 2mm thick metal core printed
circuit boards (MCPCB) to simplify thermal management and provide
an economical mounting method.
The
modules are available in wavelengths from 400nm UV, 455nm-475nm
Blue, 500-510nm Cyan, 520-535nm Green, 585nm-595nm Amber, 610-620nm
high-efficiency Red/Orange and 620-635nm Red. The IPD1 series modules
can be specified with plug-and-play two-pin connectors or come standard
with solder pad terminations allowing for endless configuration
possibilities.
The
IPD1 series is capable of outputs in excess of 50 lumens using the
Cree XL series of high power XLamps and outputs in excess of 57
lumens with the new XR series (5500 minimum CCT). The maximum input
voltage range per module is 3.0V @ 350mA for amber, red/orange and
red and 4.0V @ 350mA for the UV, blue, cyan and green modules. These
modules are the brightest and most efficient available industry
wide and have a service life in excess of 50,000 hours (50,000 hours
to 70% of initial lumens output).
The
IPD1 series is ideally suited for channel letter illumination, cove
lighting, discrete and decorative lighting, backlight design, general
illumination and research applications. When used in conjunction
with the Infinilux ICCD series of global input voltage range constant
current drivers, 18 IPD1 series light engines can be coupled to
provide upwards of 1026 lumens of 6500k white output.

1 & 3 Watt MR16 lamps have built in Constant Current Drivers
that take 8~16VAC/VDC inputs!
|
Carson,
CA, January 6, 2006 - Infinilux, announces the introduction of a
pair of new solid state lamps with standard bi-pin, MR16 bases and
integrated constant current drivers that can accept variable inputs
from 8 volts to 16 volts in either alternating current (AC) or direct
current (DC). This feature allows for longer runs of task, accent
and garden lighting from the same transformers than would be possible
with traditional Halogen light sources. Both lamps are built around
the industry leading Cree™ Xlamp™ technology and have service lives
in excess of 25,000 hours, which will provide a five-year maintenance-free
installation in a typical 12 hours on, 12 hours off application.
While
each lamp unit is housed in an industry standard white Nylon® 66
housing made from UL rated 94V-0 materials, under the skin are highly
advanced thermal management and optical systems. The Infinilux Thermal
Management System (ITMS™) is comprised of both an engineered heatsink
and an advanced convection scheme that keeps the operating temperature
of the IL-MR16 series at near optimal levels. This thermal management
combined with the added benefit of lower power consumption makes
the IL-MR16 ideally suited to installations where multiple units
are required and provides an additional cost savings and rapid return
on investment (ROI) by lowering ambient temperatures and consuming
up to 90% less energy than traditional light sources.
In
addition to the ITMS, Infinilux incorporates highly accurate optics
that maintains a culminated output of 10 degrees, the modular approach
to line assembly allows for the substitution of custom optics for
customer specific applications and installations. With the standard
optics, the IL-MR16 creates a soft-focused spot with ideal integrity
that does not leave any optical artifacts such as halos, color separation
or edge breakup/ghosting.

Strip LED product line is a complete DIY solution!
|
Carson,
CA, November 16th, 2005 - Infinilux™, announces the introduction
of their ISL series of LED strip lighting products. These low-voltage,
self-adhesive and self-contained luminaries feature up to 70 lumens
per linear foot of cool (6500K) or warm (3500K) white output and
are ideally suited for replacing inefficient fluorescent tubes or
halogen lamps. The ISL series claims up to 50,000 hours median life
expectancy and full compliance with stringent environmental initiatives
such as RoHS and WEEE.
Powered
by a 100~240VAC input, 12V-4amp output laptop style brick transformer,
the ISL series can run up to 18 linear feet per power drop/transformer
allowing for most installations to run contiguously without interruption.
Power consumption is as much as 90% lower with the Infinilux ISL
series over conventional lighting systems saving homeowners and
businesses thousands of dollars in energy and maintenance costs
over the lifetime of the installation.
Each
21.0" [53.3cm] LED strip is comprised of 42 PLCC-4 LEDs that feature
industry leading CREE™ dice and have a daisy chain connector system
at each end that allows for plug-and-play interconnection between
strips. The strips can also be trimmed with a standard pair of household
scissors along 3.0" increments to allow for DIY custom tailored
fitting inside, under or on top of, entertainment units, display
cabinets and architectural features.
